Our Process
Step One: Understanding Our Customer
Visit our showroom during our business hours to discuss your project. Bring any drawings you may have of your space. Show us photos of what you like. Bring any appliance specs you are considering buying. We show you different door styles, colors and cabinet styles. Appointments are recommended but walk-ins are welcome.
Step Two: In Home Visit
Appointment is scheduled to visit your home. We take measurements, discuss design ideas, personal preferences, preferred timeline and budget for project. We take notes of your wish list, photos of your existing space and schedule second appointment to visit the showroom and meet with designer.
Step Three: Design Your Space
Once we understand what you’d like, we carefully review our measurements, notes and photos, and look for things like plumbing, electric and existing openings. A preliminary design is created based on our discussions, and an accurate budget for your project is established.
If the design shown along with the presented estimate for your project meet or exceed your expectations, we request a small commitment fee (usually about 10%) to move on to the next step. This deposit is then applied towards the purchase price. All the applicable renderings and drawings of the design are then released to you. This small commitment fee does not obligate you to that specific design, it only allows us to spend more time fine tuning your project until you are are completely satisfied.
Step Four: Finalizing
Arrangements are made for us to re-visit your home and take final measurements. Another appointment follows. We meet in our showroom again, go over the design, make any necessary changes and help you finalize your selections.
Step Five: Order
When you’re ready to order, we ask that the payment is made in full for any materials that you order. Any deposits made in the past are applied towards the purchase. Depending on the Cabinet Manufacturer, an estimated time of arrival (ETA) for the cabinets is established.
Step Six: Delivery
Before cabinets are delivered, we notify you of the delivery and give a more accurate delivery date. Cabinets are then delivered as agreed (tailgate, jobsite, in-home). Someone must be home during delivery.
Step Seven: Installation
Before cabinets are delivered, installation specifics are discussed and payment arrangements are made. Usually 20% deposit is required to schedule installation. We meet with our installers and go over the floorplans, drawings and installation specifics.
Installers then arrive to carefully start putting it all together, following all sketches. Cabinets are now ready for template and countertop installation.
