Our Process
Step 1: Initial Consultation
Visit our showroom during our business hours to discuss your project. Bring any photos and dimensions you may have of your space. Share with us your inspirational photos. Bring any appliance model numbers you are considering keeping/buying. We’ll discuss design ideas, personal preferences, preferred timeline and budget for your project. A preliminary material selection is made. Appointments are recommended; walk-ins are welcome.
Step 2: In Home Visit
If you are unable to provide us with measurements, or if the measurements provided to us aren’t detailed enough, an appointment is scheduled to visit your home to take our measurements. We take notes of your wish list and photos of your existing space.
Step 3: Behind The Scenes
Once we understand your wants & needs, we carefully review our measurements, notes and photos, and start drafting a design. A preliminary design is created based on our discussions, and an accurate budget for your project is established. In about a week, another appointment is scheduled for you to visit the showroom and review the preliminary design & estimate.
Step 4: Design Review
Using state-of-the-art design software that allows you to see the space in a 3D rendering, we will show you the initial design that we created. We will answer any questions you may have about the design, material selection and anything in between. Estimate based on this design is also presented and a printed copy is given to you. If we checked off all the boxes, and met or exceeded your expectations, then to move on to the next step, we request a small deposit as a retainer for our services (usually 10% of the estimate which is later applied towards the material purchase). All of the applicable renderings and design drawings are then released to you. This small commitment fee does not obligate you to that specific design, it only allows us to spend more time working on your project and fine tune the design until you’re completely satisfied.
Step 5: Finalizing
Arrangements are made for us to re-visit your home and take final measurements, confirming all the measurements on the design. Another appointment follows to meet in our showroom, to make any necessary design changes and help you finalize your selections.
Step 6: Order
When you’re ready to order, we ask that the payment is made in full for any materials that you order. Any deposits made in the past are applied towards the purchase. Depending on the manufacturer, an estimated time of arrival (ETA) for the materials is established.
Step 7: Delivery
Before any materials are delivered, we notify you of the delivery and give you a more accurate delivery date. Cabinets are then delivered as agreed (tailgate or in-home). Someone must be home to accept the delivery.
Step 8: Installation
If you choose us for your cabinetry installation, a 20% deposit is required to secure a place on our schedule. We meet with our installers and go over the floor plans, drawings and installation specifics. Installers then arrive on site and start putting it all together. After cabinets have been installed, we will schedule template and countertop installation so you can start using your beautiful kitchen.
